Ozark Beer School : Season 2020 : Class THREE:: Barrel Aged & Cask Beers
Beers and Barrels have a long history of delicious cohabitation. What does it mean when we say “brewed for the barrel?” What sorts of things are we looking for in a barrel? How does a barrel become an ‘ingredient,’ in the process and what sort of techniques does aging a beer in wood require? In this class Teddy & Michael will walk us through barrel aging.
We’ll also be delving into cask beer! For this class, Teddy is dry-hopping a small batch of Ozark IPA with the hop Azacca. Your ticket includes a pour from this special cask and a taste of our BDCS 2018, our Bourbon Barrel Aged Double Cream Stout.
TUITION IS ONLY $10 AND AVAILABLE AT THIS LINK.
