Art in Place NWA and Ozark Beer Company are coming together to reimagine the OBC Backyard as a community-driven gathering place.

Event Agenda:

6:00 PM - 6:30 PM: Art in Place Happy Hour. Casual opportunity to grab a drink and mix in the Ozark taproom before the formalities.

6:30 PM - 6:45 PM: Welcome and Group Introductions. What is Art in Place, what are we doing with OBC, and who is in the room?

6:45 PM - 7:00 PM: Summary of Ozark Beer Company Backyard vision. Lacie Bray and Andy Coates, founders and owners of Ozark Beer Company share their vision and dreams for the Backyard in the life of the brewery and the community.

7:00 PM - 7:15 PM: Summary of architecture and site planning. Architect Jessica Hester of Verdant Studio shares a summary of the OBC Backyard site, desired structures and building program, and necessary zoning and municipal code considerations.

7:15 PM - 8:00 PM: Site Planning Brainstorm Activity. Participants with be grouped into "design teams" and participate in a brainstorming activity focused on developing site plan ideas and identifying opportunities for the integration of art and artists.

8:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Team presentations. Each team will present and discuss their proposal for the OBC Backyard space with the large group. Discussion and Q&A will be encouraged.
