March 14th or 3.14 is known as Pi Day and we'd love to help you celebrate marvelous number! What is Pi? At Ozark Beer Company we find the easiest way to explain this is with a pie. Grab a string and measure the distance around the outside of a whole pie. If you don't have a full pie you may use a pizza pie. Then divide it by the distance from one side to the other through the middle of the pie. You get 3.14 plus over a million other digits but we shorten it to 3.14 for fun and ease of remembering.

This number called Pi is considered a constant and never changing. Fun fact :: if you write 3.14 on a piece of paper and look at in the mirror it spells Pie! Math nerds-meet pizza fans-meet local pie fans-meet craft beer meets-Pi Day at Ozark Beer Company.

Along with our regular selection of beers and the ever rotating small batch options, starting at 3.14pm we will be serving up some of our area's tastiest pies from Gooseberry Handmade Pies. Poor Man's Pizza will be on site all day slinging some delicious pizza pies. All food will be available while supplies last.

The fun continues at 6pm with a 3.14 mile run and family friendly bike ride from the brewery. NWA No Drop Cycling and Arkansas Latinas En Bici will leading the bike ride and Benton Country Running Club will lead the run. No one will be left behind and this will be a wonderful way to connect with these clubs.
