The star of the show here is a French farmhouse-style yeast known for hints of pear, apple and cracked pepper. A blend of European and Pacific Northwest hops, only in the boil, lend a pleasant, subtle bittering. Fermented on the cooler side, notes of clove and bubble gum mix with fruit aromas into a dry, refreshing finish. 5.2% abv.

APRIL 2026

For almost three years the world turned as Some Kind of Sign aged, first in oak for 19mos and then conditioned cold for 13 more. Brant filled the barrels with an amber ale three Summers ago and this Spring he felt it was 'ready.' We're so fortunate to have a cellar that stays relatively the same temperature, and after several years of developing cultures in the wood, those cultures create their own, distinctive characteristics. Developing on a slow progression, they eventually produce delicate and often totally unique aromas. After primary fermentation, Some Kind of Sign began its journey in the barrel with Brettanomyces Clausenii. The ale is 7.1% abv. It is tart, almost juicy, fruity with a touch of oak and a leaves a mouthwatering finish.
